This is one software what can make effects in our videos. Adobe After Effects is a digital motion graphics and compositing software published by Adobe Systems. Its main purpose is for film and video post-production.
Adobe After Effects is primarily used for creating motion graphics and visual effects. After Effects allows users to animate, alter, and composite media in 2D and 3D space with various built-in tools and third party plug-ins, as well as individual attention to variables like parallax and user-adjustable angle of observation.

Both After Effects and some non-linear editing systems (NLEs) are layer-oriented, meaning that each individual media object (video clip, audio clip, still image, etc.) occupies its own track. In contrast, other NLEs use a system where individual media objects can occupy the same track as long as they do not overlap in time. This track-oriented system is more suited for editing and can keep project files much more concise. The layer-oriented system that After Effects adopts is suited for extensive effects work and keyframing. Although other compositing packages—especially ones that employ tree or node workflows, such as Apple Shake—are better suited to manage large volumes of objects within a composite, After Effects is able to somewhat counter the clutter by selectively hiding layers (using the Shy switch) or by grouping them into pre-compositions.

I have introduced Photoshop what good for design. But now I want to introduce another design software-corel draw. It is also better for design. Actually, It is better for drawing some shapes, or elabroate design works, such as some shapes. When we are going to design some elabroate picture, we draw in lines or shapes in corel draw first, and then transform to photoshop to draw color something, and complete the design work, do some effects in this work, let it look like better.

When I read this article, I was interested in those things. They gave some chances to students who meet interest technology in classroom. It is a good starting, using some new technology to attract students’ attention. Some digital games and stimulus to bring studnets’ interest. But I also want to say we should control measure of those technology, let them use their function of education, let our students not only get fun but also learn knowledge.

In our class, we have learned some software which edits movies or pictures, but we did not learn the software which can edit music. Now I want to share one software, it is Sony Sound Forge.

Sony Sound Forge (formerly known as Sonic Foundry Sound Forge) is a digital audio editing suite by Sony Creative Software which is aimed at the professional and semi-professional markets.

A limited version sold as Sound Forge Audio Studio provides an inexpensive entry-level digital audio editor; it was formerly known as Sonic Foundry’s Sound Forge LE.

By 2003, Sonic Foundry, the parent company of Sound Forge faced losses and tough competition from much larger companies and as a result, agreed to sell its desktop audio and music production product family to Sony Pictures Digital for $18 million.

The software initially had Windows 3.x support, but after version 3.0 all 16-bit support was dropped. Additionally, Windows 95 support was dropped after Sound Forge 5.0.

When I have class in college, I meet one thing which I did not use it before. It is graphics tablet. In this class, our teacher also mentioned this device. It is better to mouse when you draw pictures in your computer. I think that is very useful to somebody who like drawing.

A graphics tablet (or digitizing tablet, graphics pad, drawing tablet) is a computer input device that allows one to hand-draw images and graphics, similar to the way one draws images with a pencil and paper. These tablets may also be used to capture data or handwritten signatures.

A graphics tablet (also called pen pad or digitizer) consists of a flat surface upon which the user may “draw” an image using an attached stylus, a pen-like drawing apparatus. The image generally does not appear on the tablet itself but, rather, is displayed on the computer monitor. Some tablets however, come as a functioning secondary computer screen that you can interact with directly using the stylus.

Some tablets are intended as a general replacement for a mouse as the primary pointing and navigation device for desktop computers.

Today, we discuss some issues. Legal Issues: copyright, fair use, piracy, free speech, acceptable use. They are very useful for me. I am a Chinese, I live in China, because of this background, our cultural different with Philippines. In China, we share software by each other, we download movies and songs from internet. They all are free, you just click download, and you can get everything. You do not need to go to cinema, you can watch any movies at home. But now, I learn different view in this class. We need to protect and respect authors’ results. As a teacher, we should teach student how to be critical thinking, not just ask them do, we should teach them learn how to think.

This morning, I get a lot of knowledge about internet. Nowadays, the internet becomes more and more important in our life. We all know that we can do lots of things by surfing the Internet. For example, some students often surf the Internet to find something good for their study, by surfing the Internet, they can learn a lot and make a great progress. When we are free, we often chat with our friends or family members. In the past, if we live very far from our friends or family members we can only write letters to each other, but now Internet can solve this problem, we can even talk or see each other on computers. Also, we can play games on weekends, they can help us relax. Of course we can also do many other things on computers. In one word, Internet is really important in our life now. So I am appreciate I could learn how to make website, it is very useful and helpful. Now, I am doing our group’s website, I also find we can get a lot of skills from internet.
